THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University will host its annual Women's Night Out fundraiser, benefiting the university's women's athletic programs on Thursday, August 13 at Cypress Columns in Gray.
The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, with dinner to follow at 7 p.m. The evening will include live and silent auctions, entertainment and an opportunity to hear about the exciting seasons that lie ahead for the Colonels.
While the event is known as Women's Night Out, men who are interested in supporting the Nicholls women's programs are strongly encouraged to attend and participate.
In the past, funds from this event have helped provide a regulation field and restrooms for women's softball, construct a field house and purchase bleachers for women's soccer and pay for championship rings for women's volleyball. Over the past eight years, Women's Night Out has raised more than $200,000 to fund facility improvements, summer school scholarships, holiday meals and more. Each dollar is used to develop and support the young women who are proud to be a part of Nicholls athletics.
Whether you are a Colonel fan, a proud parent or someone interested in helping young women develop their skills and pursue a degree, this event is an opportunity you will not want to miss.
Tickets are $100 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Nicholls women's athletics programs.
