We recommend parking in MacArthur Center North Parking Lot. Parking is $1 for 3 hours.Parking at the street parking meters is free weekdays after 6:00 PM and on weekends.

The purpose of this workshop is to help you answer these three questions:
1. Why do you want to go into business for yourself?
2. Are you suited to be an entrepreneur?
3. What should you do you do next?
Topics covered:
1. The reasons people go into business for themselves.
2. Some of the things people believe about starting a business. Are those beliefs true?
3. What factors help make new businesses successful?
4. Activities to help you determine if you are the kind of person who might be successful as an entrepreneur.
5. Setting goals and developing action plans.
6. Resources available to assist you in making your decision and/or getting started.
7. Next steps.
