So, you think you want to be a 'Government Contractor'? If you are not maximizing Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), success will elusive. 

FBO is the granddaddy of Online solicitations. Learn some process shortcuts, as well as some Do's and Don'ts. This session will be conducted by professionals who have used FBO to make a living over the past 40 years.

 Topics to be discussed include:

• How is FBO organized?
• Out-of-town versus local opportunities: Should I pursue them both?
• What is the difference between RFP, RFQ, RFI, and others?
• "Do I qualify for a set-aside contract"? (What is that anyway).
• "I am too small for a federal contract; right"? (hint: the fed's love small business; learn why).

We'll be online live to the FBO website https://www.fbo.gov, so bring your laptop computers or tablets to follow along.

Remember, if you are not very familiar with FBO, you are not really serious about federal contracting.
