              Econ and Personal Finance Camp for Teachers!

Attend the official training for the new Economics and Personal Finance (EPF) course.

Join us for our EPF Institute! This week-long, 40-hour institute will equip educators with the tools, skills and knowledge they need to effectively teach the new Economics and Personal Finance course. This professional development is facilitated by NCCEE. 

Training information:

  • Attendees should attend the session closest to them. There is a very limited amount of funding for lodging scholarships. If distance is a hardship, please consider the virtual option. If you would like to apply for a lodging scholarship, please use the form linked here

  • Parking costs will be reimbursed where applicable

  • Lunch will be provided

Training will include: 

  • Lesson plans that correlate to standards using simulations, projects, in-class activities, online assignments and games

  • Industry expert lunch panels

  • Opportunity to apply to NCCEE's EPF Master Teacher program

  • W!SE Financial Literacy Certification

  • $500.00 stipend upon successful completion

This institute is presented as a public private partnership between the State of North Carolina, NCCEE, NCDPI, Ally, Coastal Credit Union, JPMorgan Chase, The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Fidelity Investments, Wells Fargo and is hosted by Cape Fear Community College.
