Personal Finance is a Big Deal!

It’s Money Smart Week and the NCCEE and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch and other presenters will provide relevant personal finance lessons and interactive resources to middle and high school educators.  Your students are preparing for the real world and will face some major life decisions after high school.  Personal finance is a big deal for them and through numerous lessons attendees will explore the human capital investment to include money, credit, budgeting and saving. This workshop will answer questions your students may be thinking and aid them in making choices right for them.  Teachers will receive certificates for 6 hours of PD. Lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited so register now!

Please note that you will need to bring a laptop or tablet as you will need to access the internet during this interactive workshop. You will also need to bring a valid form of identification to enter the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch.

  • 6 hours of high-quality training, financial literacy certificate provided. 
  • Aligned to K-12 NC Essential Standards in and personal finance (6-12)
  • Lunch will be provided
