Parallel Process Parent Workshop: Transforming Alongside your Struggling Teen
This workshop is designed for YOU, the parent, to understand the concepts and learn the skills to
to transform stuck relationship patterns with your child.
- Parents will come away with a "felt sense" of how to respond differently to their pre-teen, teen or young adult
- Parents will increase their own self-awareness through identifying their feelings and patterns.
- Parents will practice new communication skills through role-plays and experiential learning.
- Parents will learn how to emotionally attune to their child and empower their children to solve their own problems.
- Parents will better understand where they might be over-managing, to side-step powerstruggles.
- Parents will develop greater awareness of parent-child differentiation.
- In this relaxed setting, parents can build new skills to confidently parent their preteen, teen or young adult child.
Pricing: $125 per individual $175 per couple before April 1st.
$20 per individual and $25 per couple increase after April 1st.
Krissy Pozatek, LICSW is the author of The Parallel Process. She is a parent coach who specializes in addressing troubled parent-child relationship patterns. Krissy has had over 15 years of experience in the wilderness therapy and adolescent treatment field. She graduated from Middlebury College with a joint degree in environmental studies and geography. Krissy completed her graduate training in clinical social work, at both Smith College School for Social Work and at N.M. Highlands University. Krissy also conducts parent workshops, seminars, lectures and most recently was a visiting professor at Middlebury College. She lives in Vermont, with her husband and two daughters.
