Trail Stewardship Project at Mores Mountain

Winter Wildlands Alliance with support from Bogus Basin, will be hosting a stewardship project at Mores Mountain. In partnership with US Forest Service's Mountain Home Ranger District volunteers will gather to give back to a treasured, outdoor space at Mores Mountain. With its close proximity to the Treasure Valley, Mores Mountain is a well-loved and well used recreational area just above Bogus Basin.  Mores Mountain offers trails for hikers, bikers, and skiers alike.  With its panoramic views, guided nature walks, and designated picnic and camping spots it is a year round destination for multiple users groups.

Come join us in giving back.  Volunteers will help with trail maintenance (tread, drainage, brush cutting), signage, and campground/ picnic-area improvements.  This project is open to all ages and skill levels.  Tools and equipment will be provided.  Volunteers should wear long pants, long sleeves, and closed toed shoes. Please bring a lunch, water, sun protection and work gloves.  Snacks will be provided.

Carpooling will be available.  Please meet at 8:30am at  Parkhill Dr., just north of the downtown Bogus Basin office (2600 N. Bogus Basin Rd.)

We are excited to do our part in ensuring Mores Mountain remains a healthy, accessible, well-loved and maintained part of our forest for future generations to experience.
