Harford County Programs
Teen Connect & Travel Training (The First Thursday of the Month April & May, the 2nd Thursday of the month in June) 6-8pm
Thursday, April 4th, May 2nd, June 13th 14years and older
$28 or $10.00 per individual session
Come hang out with us in Harford County, meet new friends and have fun while increasing self-awareness, social skills, as well as critical skills for independent living, including travel training with IMAGE Travel Training Instructor Amanda Taylor.
Thursday, April 4th Dinner at Freddie’s Restaurant in Bel Air & Harford Mall
We will be welcoming in the spring season by kicking off the new session of teen connect with dinner at Freddie’s Restaurant in Bel Air. Afterwards we will review skills of travel training during our walk over to the Harford Mall where we will wrap up the night with a team vs. team scavenger hunt!
Drop off will be at Freddie’s in Bel Air. Pick up will be inside the mall outside of the Macy’s store. Please plan to send money for eating at Freddie’s. We will not be shopping when we are at the mall this time around.
Thursday, May 2nd Putt Putt Golf & Ice Cream
Teen Connect will be taking over Churchville Golf for a round of miniature golf. Afterwards will have the chance to discuss travel safety & options when using cab service to get around from place to place. Participants will review travel skills while walking to the Arctic Circle for Ice Cream and will have the opportunity to get inside of a taxi cab and talk to company driver for further tips on future travel.
Drop off will be at Churchville Golf. Pick up will be at the Arctic Circle Ice Cream Parlor. Please plan to send money for Ice Cream or Munchies only. IMAGE will be paying for putt putt.
Thursday, June 13th Orioles Game
Teen Connect will be putting their travel skills to the test. We will be meeting at the Park & Ride in Whitemarsh and will be traveling via MTA to the Orioles Game starting at 7:05pm. More details will be coming soon!
Drop off and Pick up will be at the Whitemarsh Park and Ride at the Hilton Garden Inn. Please plan to send food as we will be eating at the picnic tables inside the stadium upon arrival. ____________________________________________________________________________
IMAGE Girls Night Out 6-8pm (Wednesdays and Thursdays this session)
Thursday, April 25th, Wednesday, May 22, Thursday, Wednesday, June 19th 14years and older
$28 or $10.00 per individual session
Ladies, all the ladies! Join us once a month for Girls Night Out! Come out for craft parties, nail painting and everything else that makes being a girl so much fun! This program is designed to assist girls with disabilities to increase self-esteem, self-determination and promote vital self-advocacy skills through creative activities and conversations specific to the lives of young women.
Thursday, April 25th Super Market Sweep @ the Target of Bel Air & a sweet treat from Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt (Please plan to send additional money for any shopping/frozen yogurt at Sweet Frog).
Wednesday, May 22 Pottery Party @ Amazing Glaze in the Festival of Bel Air
(Please plan to send money for any pieces that your child wishes to paint).
Wednesday, June 19th Chick Flick in the Park at Churchville Recreation Pavilions
(Please plan to bring a chair or blanket and potluck food item to share with the group).
Guys Game Night 5-7pm (2nd Wednesday of the month)

Calling all guys! Come get your game on! Do you have interests that you want to share with friends? Do you want to try new things and meet new challenges? Make new friends? Join us for a guy’s only game night once a month!
