Topic: Bridging the Gap between Engineering and Construction
Our presentation topic will be "Bridging the Gap between Engineering and Construction." The world of engineering and construction are vital to a projects success but there is an unspoken separation between them. The discussion will focus on shifting views for a greater partnership between these two industries.
Our speaker is Kristi Mirambell, PE. Mirambell received her BS in Civil Engineering from UNO in 2003 and her Masters in Civil Engineering from UNO in 2006. Since 1999 Mirambell has worked in many engineering roles in a vast array of commercial and industrial projects. She has designed over 100 offshore oil platforms and major structures for chemical plants. On the commercial side Mirambell has managed and designed work for design build projects, renovations, tenant build out and new construction. She is presently President/Owner of K-Belle Consultants, LLC.
