Joining Jesus on His Mission

This is a training session presented by Pastor Greg Finke.  If you missed the last training, you are encouraged to attend this one! This is where the pieces are put together and application begins

Pastor Greg Finke (LCMS) has written a book about our vocations in Christ and how He calls us to join Him on the adventure of being Christ in our everyday lives. Simple, powerful and applicable insights show you how to be on mission and recognize where Jesus is already at work in your neighborhoods, workplaces and schools. You will feel both relief and hope. You may even hear yourself say, “I can do this!” as you start responding to the everyday opportunities Jesus is placing in your path. Pastor Finke will be visiting us to share with us his thoughts from the book and equip us to see how we can Join Jesus on His Mission. 

Small Groups are encouraged to get a copy of this book for their Bible study time together.  Stop by the Shepherd's Corner Bookstore on Sunday and pick up a copy.

Greg Finke’s book, “Joining Jesus on His Mission,” has sold more than 20,000 copies since its release in 2014 and was translated into Spanish in 2015.

The book is being used in classes at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri; Concordia Seminary, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and in several undergraduate classes at Christian Universities across North America.

25 Districts of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod regard Dwelling 1:14 as an important partner for providing training and resources for missional discipleship among their congregations. Greg is a frequent presenter at conferences and conventions.

Dwelling 1:14 has trained hundreds of congregations in missional discipleship since 2011. The average worship attendance of all the congregations trained by Dwelling 1:14 in missional discipleship currently adds up to more than 30,000 people.
