Autumn Nature Walk at Sumner Peck Ranch and Ball Ranch

Join us for this free early autumn nature walk at Sumner Peck Ranch and Ball Ranch! Ball Ranch played an important part in the creation of the San Joaquin River Parkway in the late 80s, and is home to many native plant and animal species. You'll look for wildlife, learn about the local environment, and enjoy the fall weather on this ~1.5 hour hike.

We will be meeting at Sumner Peck Ranch (11439 N. Friant Rd) at 9:00 am.  Please park in the parking lot behind the large glass building and meet your guide near the fountain.  Hike may be anywhere from 1.5-3 miles in length and will last approximately 1.5 hours.  Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water.  This is a rain or shine event.  Children 7+ welcome.
