The Washington Council of Lawyers invites you to  our continuing conversation,

Best Practices in Pro Bono:
Training Volunteers

Law firms, legal services organizations, and corporations in dialogue to improve the business of doing pro bono.

During the 2014-2015 Best Practices in Pro Bono sessions, we will focus our discussions on how we equip volunteers to do their best work for pro bono clients.  In our first session, we will survey existing modes of volunteer training offered by legal services organizations and law firms, best practices on innovative and interactive training programs, the use of technology, and cutting-edge training platforms.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014, at Fried, Frank Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, 801 - 17th Street NW.  We will gather at 8:30 am for a continental breakfast; the facilitated conversation will take place from 9:00 - 10:00 am, featuring facilitators Lise Adams, Associate Director at the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program, Bridgette Harwood, Co-Executive Director at Network for Victim Recovery of DC, and Paul Lee, Pro Bono Manager at Dechert.

As always, there is no cost to attend.  Please feel free to invite others to join the conversation!
