Free Pruning Clinic 

Young Tree Pruning Basics.  Learn to prune shade trees for good structure and form.

Extend the life and beauty of trees, and learn how to gain maximum benefit for years to come.  When and how to make pruning cuts, overall pruning strategies and a variety of tools will be discussed.  Weather permitting; there will be an optional walk afterwards on library grounds to look at trees tructure and pruning.

Course offered by the Sacramento Tree Foundation in partnership with SMUD.
