Acorn Harvest Hike 

It's an acorn harvest hike!  Take a lovely 1-2 mike hike along paved bike paths as we harvest valley oak, blue oak and interior live oak acorns.  Learn how to properly identify and collect healthy seeds.  These seeds will be used for our educational programs and local reforestation and restoration efforts.  This event is kid friendly!

We want to ensure that your time with us is a success!  Please prepare for this event in the following ways:

• Begin your day with a healthy breakfast
• Wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes
• Bring along a water bottle
• You may want to bring gloves if you have them
• Bring your completed Volunteer Release form
