Curtis Park Neighborhood Planting 

This is a speical tree planting event for the neighbors of Curtis Park.  With the support of the Sacramento Tree Foundation, 15-18 trees will be planted within the park to increase diversity, a new generation of trees and encourage neighborhood support for the stewardship of Curtis Park and its trees. 

Volunteers will meet at the tennis courts for an introduction to the project.  All tools, trees and instruction will be provided by the Tree Foundation.  From the meeting location, planting teams will head out to various locations throughout the park.

We want to ensure that your time with us is a success!  Please prepare for this event in the following ways:

• Begin your day with a healthy breakfast
• Wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes
• Bring along a water bottle
• You may want to bring gloves if you have them
• Bring your completed Volunteer Release form
