Colonial Festival Afternoon Tea

Please join us for Afternoon Tea on the oceanfront piazza of George Washington Inn during the 3rd annual NW Colonial Festival. Tea times have been carefully scheduled to allow you to also view the daily reenactments of the Revolutionary War battles of Lexington and Concord, see the Old North Bridge, immerse yourself in the colonial encampment and view artisans at work. Meet George Washington and his troops. The entire weekend is a fun and educational experience for the whole family.

Seating for the teas is limited to 32 per seating, so advance reservations are highly recommended. The total cost, including tax, is $37.00. The tea menu for this year is Cranberry-Orange Scones, Fresh Fruit Skewers, Bay Shrimp Salad Cucumber Cups, Smoked Salmon Canapés, Savory Skewers with House-Made Salami, Strawberry-Chicken Salad Canapés, Chocolate-Dipped Dried Pear & Walnut Biscotti, Hand-Stamped Butter Cookies, and Nutella Cookies along with our signature tea. 

Yes, the Red Coats are coming! The Skirmish on Lexington Green will be fought each morning at 10:30. The Battle for Concord Bridge will be in the afternoon at 2:30. 

Admission to the festival is $15 per person or $30 for the whole family for the entire weekend. Children 12 and under are free. Bring the whole family and enjoy all that there is to see, learn and experience.
