TPA Real World : Case Studies

The purpose of the unique practicum program is to offer a dynamic real world learning opportunity for audiologists who provide tinnitus and sound sensitivity care for their patients.  The program is designed to be completely interactive.  Experienced audiologists and workshop attendees will present case studies of patients that are interesting and challenging. Peer to peer learning is a very effective way to enhance your professional skills when working with often challenging patients.

Two ethics hours will be included in this program.  Practitioners often have questions regarding standard of care and professional ethics regarding this patient population.  Some of the questions that have been submitted are listed here.

Ten clock hours will be divided by tinnitus case studies, decreased sound tolerance case studies and professional tinnitus and sound sensiivity ethics concerns. Helpful support materials will be provided.

Workshop Instructors:

Natan Bauman, Ed.D, Merideth Eldridge, M.A., Tricia Scaglione, Au.D., Cindy Simon Au.D., Arnold Lieberman, J.D. and contributing workshop participants
