Conference Abstract
The purpose of the conference program is to provide an opportunity for professionals to share research, rehabilitative theories and practices in the care of misophonia patients. The two day conference presentations will cover historical research of the condition, medical insights, demographics and evaluation of the condition. Theories and treatment options will be presented by audiologists and mental health professionals. It is clear that any treatment method may require a team approach, therefore, we are encouraging allied professionals to attend by offering special registration package for audiologists that bring an allied professional. Audiologists should be able to evaluate and develop a treatment plan, then communicate effectively with allied professionals to facilitate treatment goals. The conference speakers will provide insights from a diversified group of professionals including:
