Zombie Legacy

October 4, 2014

 

STORYLINE

Fall 2014 – The Human race has suffered many devastating blows to its existence. Earthquakes, sickness, mass floods and sink holes have lowered the human population to all-time lows.  In addition, the Zombie population has become savvy in protecting its existence and fighting the humans. The President of the United States has issued orders for Humans to begin documenting their existence in case of a complete annihilation. All Humans are urged to preserve…. our Legacy.

Section 1  10am- noon

The Zombies and Humans must take and hold as much land as possible. 5 slap sticks will be spread out throughout the field. Every 30 minutes the slapsticks will be scored.  The HQ slap sticks will only be scored if the base is taken.  

Zombies and Humans must collect the bones of the fallen. Props will be spread out all over the field; these props must be taken back to the base and put Inside the “Prop Bunker”. All props will be scored  at the end of the mission block (noon). Props MAY be removed from opposing base however they must be in designated area at base to be scored at end of mission block.  

“Prop Bunker” : Each base has a designated bunker where props must be stored to be scored at the end of the mission block. This bunker IS NOT a safe area.  Prop Bunkers are LIVE bunkers!

 

Scoring
Props – 50 points each
Each slap stick – 100 points

 

Section 2  1pm – 3pm

Same objectives and scoring as section 1 

*props will be removed from bases and re-hidden on field

 

Section 3  3:45 – 4:30

The Zombies have the Humans surrounded!. The Humans must defend the Fire Control area. The Zombies will have 3 different respawn points for this section . The Zombies must finish off the human race! There will be 5 slapsticks located throughout the Fire control area. These will be scored at the end of the game.

Scoring
Each slap stick – 250 points

 

 

 

Misc

  • Field Speed – 270fps (ALL MARKERS!)
  • No ramping
  • All other modes allowed but must be capped at 10.5bps
  • No full auto inside buildings
  • First strike rounds are permitted and can be brought to the event – white fill only

 

Bases

  • Bases can be taken by opposing forces
  • Once base is taken all attacking players in immediate area are eliminated and must reinsert at their own HQ.
  • There will be 75 points awarded for dropping opposing base
  • Base is considered “taken” once Base slapstick has changed to attacking teams color

 

Tanks

  • Tanks can be eliminated by grenade or law rocket
  • Tank gunners chrono at 260fps or under!
  • Law rocket or grenade must hit tank anywhere on the body
  • No “Walking tanks” allowed

 

Law rockets

  • Allowed only in first two sections of the game (not in the final battle)
  • Must chrono to 140fps
  • Must have a law rocket card (given at registration) to use. Ref will punch this card each time it is used
  • Must have a ref present to verify hit/ punch card (MUST GET REF’S ATTENTION BEFORE USE!)
  • Allowed 5 rocket launches per section,

 

Insertions

  • Insertions will happen at HQ’s
  • A 10 minute window will open every 10 minutes (i.e . 10 minutes open, 10 minutes closed, etc)

 

 “The Chosen One”

  • This prop can be used ONCE for one of the following
    • “demonic possession” (sniper)
      • Can be used to eliminate one live player of choice
  • Medic
    • Can be used to cure one person at a time
    • Can cure the person carrying it if shot while possessing
  • Transport
    • Can transport up to 3 people at a time
    • Once transport arrives at location, ref will count to five then players are active
    • Can only be used once then must be surrendered to referee
