Mixed Couples League

  • The Mixed Couples League plays each Wednesday beginning around 5:00pm and runs through 6:00pm.  
  • The League is 12 weeks in length and begins on May 22.  The cost $28 (includes cart) per round.  Two payment options available:  (1) Pay as you go (NO PREPAYMENT IS NECESSARY).  (2) Prepaid League Membership - Prepay by March 15 ($336/couple) and receive a book of 13 vouchers (1 FREE week).  Vouchers carry a value of $28 that may be also used towards non-league greens fees in case you have to miss a night.  You can use it any day at any time to make up that missed evening including weekend mornings!
  • The League alternates between the front and back 9 each week for variety and challenge.
  • The League format is individual stroke play meaning that everyone plays their own ball from tee to green and a point system is used to score the round. Chestnut Hill will provide a handicap (free of charge) to even the playing field.
  • Scoring is a two person scramble.  Each couple will drive from their respective tees.  The couple will then decide whose shot was better and move the lesser shot to the better position.  From there, the couple will each hit again and move the lesser shot ball to the location of the better shot.  This continues all the way until the ball is in the hole.  At that point, one score is recorded for the couple.  Additionally, at least one shot from the female players’ shots must be counted on each hole, irrespective of whether the males’ shots were all better.
  • BEST OF ALL - league players, at no additional cost, may play extra holes after their league 9-hole round until the course closes.
  • Competitions are hosted each week and, while optional, are always very popular.
  • Come early and play 9 holes prior to your league for just $10 with cart.
  • The Mixed Couples League Players are invited to our ANNUAL LEAGUE APPRECIATION the first week in August, which includes free beer and food. Moreover, all Leagues receive a complimentary mid-season banquet and a final BBQ Awards Banquet.
  • The registration fee for joining the league is $28 to secure your spot.  This amount is refunded by not charging for the final week of play.
