Join Peter Guinosso for a special Yoga Retreat with optional rock climbing, hiking, nature immersion, meditation, camp fires, kirtan, and star-gazing in sacred Joshua Tree National Monument outside of Palm Springs. Joshua Tree is well known for its awe inspiring natural beauty & wildlife and provides a perfect place to practice yoga & get reconnected to nature. We will spend a day exploring and soaking in the Deep Creek Hot Springs.

2 Day Photo Workshop by Scott Finsthwait being offered.
- Day 1 - We will go on a refreshing 90-minute photo safari in the small canyon behind the Indian Cove campground, where we will learn and practice some basics of photography: how to use your camera (different settings and modes) - metering and the three components of exposure: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO; - a few guidelines of composition: rule of thirds, leading lines, lens choice, perspective, etc.
- Day 2 - We will go on a glorious 90-minute safari in an area yet-to-be-determined. We will review the first day, cover a few different types of photography (portrait, landscape, macro, and abstract), and learn about editing and post-production tips and tricks. It is advised that participants bring a bottle of water, a notebook and pen, and . . a camera: - iPhone, Droid, etc. - an SLR, - a DSLR, or - a point & shoot. A small, environmentally friendly-ish packet of information covering these topics plus some of Scott's personal photography tips and tricks will be provided.
- Post-retreat - Scott will continue to provide online help, support, and advice.
