NOBIDA -- Wilson Level 2: Advanced Strategies for MSL Instruction 

Greetings!

We invite you to our Wilson Level 2: Advanced Strategies for MSL Instruction.  

Program Description: This workshop delves into essential techniques and strategies to improve all aspects of WRSgroup instruction through hands-on practice and discussion. It is a pre-requisite for the Wilson ReadingSystem Level 2 Group Mastery Practicum.

Workshop Topics: • Ensuring and assessing group mastery• Maximizing group success while meeting individual needs• Application and integration of skills• Concept development vs. fluency• Planning and practicing lesson plan Blocks 1, 2, and 3 for groups• Direct and targeted fluency instruction• Strategies for effective vocabulary and comprehension instruction.

Prerequisite:  Completion of, or enrollment in, Wilson Level 1 Certification Training AND a BA in Education or a related field. 

Completion:  1 Graduate Credit available through Fitchburg State University upon completion of the workshop at an additional cost of $250.  Contact fitchburgstate.edu/dyslexia for more information.

Fine Print:  Registration is processed on a first-come first-served paid payment basis.  Class size is limited to 30 participants. Payment is due at the time of registration and includes continental breakfast and workshop materials. 

Early registration is suggested to guarantee workshop materials. Check-in time is 7:30 - 8:00am.   Lunch is a 1-hour break on your own. Additional instructor needs and materials are sold separately.  

Cancellation policy: In the event that you need to cancel, you must contact us in writing at nobidainfo@gmail.com. Cancellation requests must identify the invoice number, registrant's name, workshop name, email address, and amount paid. There is a $25 cancellation fee. No shows will be billed at cost.
