Listening to the Voices of Experienced Workers in Hamilton: Barriers and Solutions

Aiding experienced workers (people 44+) to find employment in today's economy can be challenging. This event for front-line employment service providers will release the results of Workforce Planning Hamilton's recent research project on the challenges facing local unemployed experienced workers, and will provide hands-on tips to help motivate them to reach their goals.  

A local labour market profile of experienced workers will be presented including:the number of EW in Hamilton; age distribution; labour force activity; educational levels; industries employed in, and occupations.

The morning features a keynote address by JP Hatala, founder of the Social Capital Development firm Flowork International, Professor at George Brown College in the Career and Work Counselor Program.  

Light refreshments will be served.
