Support watershed restoration efforts in the

Sunday Creek watershed!

Location: Meet at Dock 3 on Burr Oak Lake. We will push off and return here. Location features restrooms, water fill-up, and plenty of parking.

Details: The day will include a leisurely float on Burr Oak Lake, with options for a guided float or free exploration A pre-float picnic featuring cookout favorites | A stop at East Branch of Sunday Creek to discuss restoration success | Wildlife viewing opportunities

Please Note: Boats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own canoe or kayak | We will be canoeing on a lake with minimal currents and turbulence. Paddlers should be aware of the occassional motorboat. Experience is recommended, but not neccessary | The watercrafts have a maximum load capacity. If you have special requirements, please communicate with us so we can accommodate you.

Cost: Your generous donations help Rural Action continue programming, education and outreach in our region. The suggested donation for this event is $20 per person and includes a Rural Action membership.
