Roadmaps to equity: Opportunities for closing health gaps in Central Ohio

At this  regional forum, held in Columbus, stakeholders will learn about Ohio’s overall health status and challenges, as well as health disparities and inequities experienced by minority and other priority populations across the state. Data and information will be shared from the 2017 HPIO Health Value Dashboard and the 2016 State Health Assessment.

Attendees will also learn about actionable, evidence-informed strategies that can be implemented by local health improvement initiatives to reduce health disparities and inequities, and move Ohioans towards health equity. The forum will also feature a facilitated panel discussion on the impact of health disparities and inequities in central Ohio.

Panelists:
* Seleshi Asfaw, Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services
* Susan Havercamp, Health Promotion and Healthcare Parity Program, Ohio State University Nisonger Center
* Kelly Kelleher, Nationwide Children's Hospital
