SPEAKER: Gil Brice

Bio: Gil Brice is a 20+ year veteran of the security industry.  With experience in security operations at a large manufacturing organization Gil moved to the reseller side of the industry where he spent the next 10-yrs in post sales installation, design, consultation and professional services.  Gil found his way to Check Point security as a professional services engineer.  After 3-years in the field Gil moved to a position managing the world wide professional services team from Grand Prairie Texas.  From there Gil moved to an SE role at Cisco where he helped customers navigate the myriad solutions in the Cisco portfolio.  During a time of economic upheaval Gil helped customers find “trapped value” in the Cisco products they already owned.  From Cisco Gil moved to Tufin where he specialized in helping customers develop new methods of managing firewall rule change.  Security management, up to that point, had been conducted in the same way since the advent of the firewall.  Gil helped customers move their firewall change management into the 21^st century.  At Cyberbit Gil continues his role, but this time assisting customers in the incident response management.  

 

Topic: Tripling Incident Response Capacity – Bank SOC Case Study

Abstract: The presentation will cover a Tier-1 bank that was struggling with the issue of over 200 alerts per day that needed attention.  Adding automation and orchestration allowed them to reduce the time to resolution drastically without adding man power.
