Please join us for Cape Fear Literacy Council’s “1st Annual Oyster Roast” on Saturday, November 8, 2014. This will be a fun and casual celebration of literacy with a fantastic fall feast featuring oysters and all the fixin’s plus music, libations, games and more!
Guests will enjoy this rare glimpse onto the grounds of Clarendon Plantation – a 700-acre private historic waterfront estate that also serves as a filming location for the “Sleepy Hollow” television series.
Gates will open at 4:30 PM so that our guests may enjoy the beautiful sunset along the Cape Fear River. There is plenty of complimentary parking on the grounds of Clarendon Plantation and guests will be able to enjoy the roast in comfort - either under the stars or in heated tents. Dress is casual -- so come ready to sip and shuck, kick up your heels and enjoy a wonderful autumn night on a beautiful historic estate.
Tickets are $80 per person/ $150 per couple
