This course presents innovative biofilm removal technology and instrument design options to meet the inevitable challenges of periodontal debridement. Examine the design characteristics of a variety of hand instruments and power scalers (both magnetostrictive inserts and piezoelectric tips).
Course Objectives:
- Understand the impact of biofilm removal to achieve periodontal debridement
- Recognize technologies that make your job easier
- Learn strategies to obtain the necessary instrumentation options and techniques to provide quality patient care

Refund Policy: Cancellations received by 7/6/16 will be refunded less a 25% administrative fee. No refunds accepted on or after 7/7/16.
Judy Sullivan
Judy Sullivan has over twenty-four years in the dental industry. Judy worked as a CDA for sixteen years combined with continued experience on the manufacturing side of dentistry working for GC America and currently Hu-Friedy Manufacturing. Recently, Judy completed her expanded degree with Hu-Friedy and is now a Master’s Hu-Friedy Sales Professional, following three years of extensive dental education training. Judy is very passionate about infection control and recently attended the OSAP Boot Camp meeting in Atlanta, GA. It is Judy’s mission to work with each and every office to perform at their best while being effective, efficient and compliant.
