Presented by Pamela Maragliano, DMD and Dona Roberts, RDH, this presentation will introduce the Dental Team to the CAMBRA system as well as share the benefits and challenges encountered as they integrated CAMBRA protocol in their own office. This course will specifically detail their practices, including implementation, communication, documentation and increases in efficiency and profitability.

By the end of this course participants will:

1. Understand the importance of implementing CAMBRA into clinical practice.
2. Uncover secrets to implementing this program effectively.
3. Learn strategies for risk assessment and risk category assignment.
   
4. Recognize the utility of quality of life indicators in private practice.

Pamela Maragliano DMD

Dr. Maragliano is a former RDH and presently a Prosthodontist practicing in Cambridge, MA and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She completed her DMD at Tufts and her specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics at UCLA. Dr. Maragliano was the recipient of the Adult Preventive Practice of the Year Award at the ADA 2010 Annual Session. Since then, Dr. Maragliano has been committed to sharing her expertise through webinars and continuing education lectures throughout the country. She is also the co-founder of LifeDental Health Promotions and is dedicated to sharing her caries prevention strategies with cancer resource centers and treatment facilities in the Greater Boston area. She is a member of the following professional organizations: ADA, Mass Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontists and Academy of Osseointegration.

Dona Roberts RDH

Dona is an RDH with over 26 years of experience and is the co-founder of Hygiene Dream Team and  LifeDental Health Promotions, which provide in-office consulting and education to healthcare providers throughout the country on caries prevention, periodontal disease prevention, senior and hospital oral care and oral-general health connection. Dona developed a modification of CAMBRA protocol and periodontal disease management program and presented her program at the ADA Session. She was awarded the 2010 ADA Adult Prevention Practice of the Year Award at the ADA 2010 Annual Session. She holds membership in the ADHA and MDHA.
