Intermediate and Advanced
Esalen® Massage Retreat, 37 CEU's

Immerse yourself in Esalen massage for a seven day retreat.  Moving from the intermediate to the advanced workshop will give you a comprehesive understanding of the philosophy, approach and techniques of Esalen massage.  These workshops are designed to take students beyond the basics of Esalen massage and dive deeply into the practice.  During this week you will receive many techniques and a variety of self care exercises and self awareness tools to add to what you are already doing in your massage practice.

This retreat will take place at the beautiful Wysteria Inn, in downtown Weaverville (10 minutes from Asheville), where you will feel like you are far from the rest of the world with the wonderful private gardens and workshop space. This week will be designed as a retreat, not only for learning, but for the participants to focus on self care, self reflection, and rejuvenation.  Healthy nutritious lunches and snacks will be provided each day, and we will have time to rest, be in nature, and connect with one another in a meaningful way.

Limited Housing is available on a first come first serve basis.

 Schedule for the week:

  • Monday: 1:00-5:00pm class
  • Tuesday-Wednesday:  9:00-12:30pm class, 12:45 lunch, 2:30-5:30pm class
  • Thursday : 9:00-12:00 class
  • Friday: 9:00am registration, 9:30-1:00 class, 1:00 lunch, 3:00-7:00pm class
