Executive Women in Finance Luncheon

Women Leaders Driving Economic Growth and Growth

Please join us for a luncheon Featuring Sarah Riordan, Katie Culp, and Angela Carr Klitzch!

Sarah S. Riordan – Executive Director General Counsel  - Sarah  joined the Bond Bank in January 2016, following the election of Mayor Joe Hogsett. She has been in the private practice of law since 1994 and has focused on civil litigation, white collar criminal defense and public entity law.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Riordan received her B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1990.  She graduated cum laude from IU Maurer School of Law in 1993 and served as law clerk to the Honorable James G. Carr, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio.  Following her clerkship, she was an associate in the firm of Connelly, Jackson, and Collier from 1994-2000.  In 2000, she moved to Indianapolis to join Bose McKinney & Evans LLP where she became a partner in 2004.  From 2011-2016, she was a member of Frost Brown Todd LLC’s  government services practice group.  Ms. Riordan previously served on the Indianapolis Marion County Board of Zoning Appeals and as a member of the Indiana Election Commission.

Katie Z. Culp – Partner - Katie is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s State and Local Tax Group. Katie also serves as president of KSM Location Advisors, part of the Katz, Sapper & Miller Network. Previously, Katie led Cassidy Turley’s (now Cushman & Wakefield) national location advisory and incentives practice, working with corporate clients to make fully informed location decisions and maximize state and local incentives packages. Katie has also led economic development efforts in central Indiana for organizations such as The Indy Partnership/Indy Chamber, Boone County EDC, and the city of Indianapolis.

Katie joined KSM Location Advisors in 2015 to expand her client services capabilities. Sensitive to the urgent nature of real estate transactions, Katie is adept at coordinating site selection and incentives timeframes with real estate and operational deadlines. She commands swift and ethical expertise in the incentives, site selection, and state and local tax arenas.

Angela Carr Klitzsch – President and CEO for EmployIndy - As President and CEO, Angela is responsible for setting EmployIndy’s vision – for all Marion County residents to have access to services and training necessary to secure a livable wage and grow in a career that meets employer demand for talent. On top of guiding the new strategic plan for EmployIndy, she drives colleagues to think strategically, innovate constantly, and execute to the best of their abilities while fostering a culture of transparency and high energy around the office. She also maintains key relationships throughout Indy’s economic and workforce network, keeping EmployIndy agile as needed to address the evolving landscape of workforce development.

Angie serves on the board for several local community-based organizations. With an educational and professional background in philanthropy, she brings more than 17 years of workforce development, economic development, and philanthropic experience to EmployIndy, previously holding high-level positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Central Indiana Community Foundation, and The Clowes Fund, Inc.
