Cycle Challenge 2014

A fully supported MTB ride across the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne

MAKE 2014 a year to remember by taking part in the Argus Appeal's exciting three day South Downs Way Cycle Challenge for just *£40 + meal options.
* Register before January 1st 2014 and save £10 off the normal registration of £50
All transportation (to and from Brighton Rugby Club, Waterhall), checkpoint food and camping is included in your *£40 registration fee.
What’s more, this is a 100% charity event (unlike so many others) so EVERY PENNY of your £150 minimum sponsorship **(+ gift aid) that you have raised goes directly to local charities in Sussex, thanks to the generous sponsors of The Argus Appeal - Legal & General.

We have been running this event for over ten years and have many returning customers and we are confident you will have a fantastic time and the only thing we cant promise is the weather!

Minimum sponsorship is £150 (+gift aid), payable up to six weeks after the event or collected prior to the ride via justgiving.

Your registration fee includes:
Two nights' camping in Midhurst & Brighton, two daily refreshment points (including lunch), transportation of riders, luggage and bikes to and from start/finish points, cycle back-up support and route maps. An evening meal can be purchased online for £8 as can breakfast at £5.

Your commitment:
*In addition to your registration fee each cyclist MUST raise a minimum of £150 (+gift aid) sponsorship exclusively for The Argus Appeal collected six weeks after the event.
**Gift aid is added to your donation courtesy of the HMRC and works out at 25p extra in every pound raised by a UK taxpayer. This is collected automatically by justgiving.com where applicable and the Argus Appeal can also claim it from other donations provided the donor has indicated on their sponsorship form that they are a UK taxpayer.
