This event is FREE but you must register to attend as space is limited. There will be FREE food and door prizes.

Workshop Options
1) Financial Aid Basics: Brief overview of the various state and federal financial aid options available to students in Michigan. (Recommended for Seniors)
2) Launching Your Dream: Why you should follow your dreams when you are chosing a college or technical school to help launch your transition from school to career. (Recommended for all)
3) Resumes for College or Career: Developing a resume is an important component of the college application and career planning process. Tips, tools, and online resources to help you get started. (Recommended for All)
4) How to write effective essays: Colleges and scholarship entities often ask you to submit essays to get a feel for who you are and why they should enroll or support your education. Learn tips and see samples of effective essays. (Recommended for All)
Need Transportation to Mason?
Option 1: CATA does stop at the Career Center. You can pick up the Connector/Shuttle Bus at 9:00 am at the Meijers on Cedar/Pennsylvania in Lansing. Return shuttle is available at 12:30 or 2:30 pm.
Option 2: Pick up a Dean Transportation Bus at the Michigan Ave. entrance of Sears at 9:15 am. The Dean Bus will pick up at the Career Center at 1:15pm for the return trip to Frandor.
