Please join us for our April program, a tour of the new UNC Imaging Research Building.
Doug Dorney, with Perkins + Will Architecture, will be leading us through the recently completed facility. Doug has been working on this project since the beginning of his tenure at Perkins + Will in 2008. In addition to Science + Technology/Sustainable Laboratories, Doug specializes in Higher Education, Sustainable, Healthcare, and Corporate, Commercial, Civic and Cultural design.
Marsico Hall reflects today's pinnacle of imaging research technology. This 9-story, 340,000 square-foot building makes UNC Chapel Hill one of two academic medical centers that house a hybrid MRI/PET whole body scanner, a 7 Tesla MRI whole body scanner, and a cyclotron in one building. Harvard is the other.
