Jonathan Whitehurst, a planner at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., specializes
in the coordination of land use and transportation plans with an added focus on
creating multimodal centers and corridors. Jonathan has contributed to numerous
pedestrian plans, community transportation plans, and corridor studies
throughout the Southeast. Locally, Jonathan has assisted in the development of
the NC 50 Corridor Study, the Holly Springs Comprehensive Transportation Plan,
and the Southwest Area Study. Jonathan will discuss these local projects and 
how they reflect the region’s larger approach to blending land use and
transportation planning at various scales.
