EPA RRP Lead Initial Training

Reserve your space at one of our open enrollment training classes. This 1 day course is required for those construction renovation repair or painting activities that may disturb lead based paint. This course is a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation supplemented with a course manual and handouts. Topics include lead health effects, history and background information, determining lead based presence utilizing EPA approved lead test kits, communication of lead hazards to building occupants, preparation of interior and exterior work areas, utilization of appropriate removal techniques, and proper cleaning verification process. Hands-on activities include lead based sampling; interior and exterior work area preparations and final cleaning verification process.
