2018 Port Washington-Manhasset Bay

Kayak Run 

The Community Chest of Port Washington and the Town of North Hempstead present this family friendly 5 mile paddle around Manhasset Bay.  This event is NOT a race.  Canoes and paddleboards are welcome.

The Event is Sponsored by the Peter and Jeri Dejana Family Foundation with major assistance from Atlantic Outfitters & the North Shore Kayak Club.

Starting Location: Port Washington Town Dock, Main Street, Port Washington

Number Pick Up: 

Thursday, 7/19 & Friday, 7/20, 10 AM to 9 PM at Atlantic Outfitters, 405 Main Street, Inspiration Wharf, 767-2215

Saturday, 7/21 before 9AM at Atlantic Outfitters

Primary Launching Locations: Town Dock or Manorhaven Boat Ramp

Entry Fee/Donation: 

Adults over 20 years of age: $25 ($45 if paid on date of event)        Young adults and children: $10 ($25 if paid on date of event)

Registration/Entry Forms: NEW for this year...online registration HERE.  Paper forms are available at the Town Dock, Atlantic Outfitters, West Marine or online at www.portchest.org.  Drop off entry forms and payment at the Community Chest (382 Main Street) or Atlantic Outfitters (Inspiration Wharf, 405 Main Street).
