Discovery Lab - Skates & Rays

Closely related to sharks, skates are an abundant species all along the East Coast. Research at VIMS has helped us gain a better understanding of migration patterns, fishery management, and overall species longevity. Lindsey Nelson, a VIMS graduate student, will discuss her research on Clearnose skates.
