Meet on the east side of the lake/east side of County Road M47
Want to introduce try fishing from a kayak, but unsure of how to get started? Join us for a hands-on kayak fishing experience. Bring equipment if you have it; limited loaner equipment available. Come alone, bring the family, or grab a friend. Registrants can bring up to three guests. [Youth can only be registered as a guest of an adult participant.]

If you have your own equipment, please bring it with you. Limited loaner equipment will be available upon request. It is Free Fishing Weekend, so no fishing license is required for Iowa residents. Event registration is required.
How you can prepare:

- Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
- Bring a water bottle, insect repellant and sunscreen.
- Bring you fishing equipment, canoe, or kayak if you have - loaner equipment available.
