Facilitated by Dr. Sharon Knight
This 2-part interactive training focuses on the strategic elements of transforming your classroom (whether virtual, in-person, or hybrid) into a culturally responsive and anti-racist space. We will explore the question of what does it really mean to have a culturally responsive, anti-racist classroom? Participants will be encouraged to reflect on and assess their existing learning environments and cultural climates for culturally relevant and inclusionary methods. Participants should walk away with actionable tips and strategies, new ideas, and feel confident in their ability to make meaningful changes to their classroom environment that reflect an understanding of culturally responsive teaching practices.
This training is facilitated to support educators at all experience levels.
