2-Day Creative Curriculum (Preschool) 

Teachers will become familiar with the 38 objectives for development and learning that inform every aspect of teaching.  They will explore and practice using Mighty Minutes, Intentional Teaching cards, and Book Discussion Cards.  Through large and small group discussions and activities, teachers will explore the benefits of using a Teaching Guide and implementing a meaningful study.  This session will support teachers as they learn to implement the three main parts of a study and understand how to integrate content into daily events through intentional teaching experiences.  Throughout the session, teachers will use the knowledge-building volumes as they learn how the curriculum provides guidance on the physical environment, caring and teaching, and partnering with families.  By the end of this session, teachers will be ready to implement The Creative Curriculum for Preschool in their classrooms.
