Service Dogs
with Kristin Hartness 

Kristin Hartness speaks nationally and internationally on the value of assistance dogs in the lives of people living with a variety of disabilities.  A service dog user herself, Kristin knows first hand the independence a well-trained canine brings to an individual.  The program will discuss:

• What a service dog is;
• How to evaluate a training program;
• How to decide if a service dog is right for you or someone you know; and
• The laws that define service dogs and govern their acess to public places.

Kristin's dog, Asha, will be joining the program as well.

Lunch will be provided.
