2020 Employers in the Know Informational Summit.

Local Employer Committees and the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will co-host "Employers in the Know 2020", a series of 12 Regional Business Summits and Networking Events across the state.

These summits are designed to provide managers, human resource professionals, business owners, and supervisors with tips for handling management, compliance, and operational effectiveness challenges within the legal climate affecting the 2020 workplace. 

This annual event provides an opportunity to:

• Meet and hear from Commissioner of Labor Mark Butler as he shares valuable information on current Georgia Department of Labor initiatives and programs.
• Get information from a Labor Law expert that helps in planning your business policies and actions in this complex legal and regulatory business environment.  
• Hear from experts that will present valuable information on tips for retaining quality employees in the 2020 workplace, Unemployment Insurance updates, and strategies for maximizing the benefits of the Federal Bonding Program.
• Regular Registration Rate $50.00
• On Site Registration $60.00
• Summits are from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm - Registration/Networking start at 8:00 am

Step Two - Register yourself and other attendees using the Eventbrite registration form. It is important to capture all of the attendee email addresses so their admission is confirmed and their SHRM/HRCI information may be emailed to them. (Credits are usually emailed within 7-10 business days after the completion of the event.)

Step Three - Complete the Financial Transaction Portion of the Registration. You will have the opportunity to

• Pay by Check - NOTE: When you select pay by check, please print out the subsequent page, along with a W-9 (link below) and submit it to your accounting department. Pay by check option closes the Friday, three weeks before the event.
