Living with Alzheimer's: Baltimore County 

Join us for an educational series that provides answers to the questions that arise after a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. Caregivers are invited to an eight-week series, and people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias are offered a three-week series.

Registration is flexible and free. You may attend one or all of the sessions of a series.

For Caregivers:
Every Monday from September 30 to November 18
Time: 7-8:30 p.m. 

Attend all or any of these weekly seminars hosted each Monday between September 30 and November 18. Come hear from those directly affected and learn what you need to know, what you need to plan, and what you can do at each point along the way.

This program will cover information for caregivers of people with:

• Early-stage Alzheimer’s disease
• Middle-stage Alzheimer’s disease
• Late-stage Alzheimer’s disease

Topics covered will include:

• Developing a care team
• Legal and financial planning
• Coping strategies
• Care and treatment options
• Communication and connecting
• Maximizing independence

For People Living with Early-Stage Dementia:
Monday, September 30, October 7 and 14
Time: 7-8:30 p.m. 
Join us for this weekly series hosted Wed. from September 30 to October 14 to learn what you need to know, what you need to plan, and what you can do as you navigate this chapter of your life. Pre-registration and screening is required.

Topics covered will include:

• Understanding Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss
• Partnering with your medical team
• Effective communication and telling others about the diagnosis
• Coping with changes and making decisions
• Daily strategies and safety issues
• Opportunities for supporting research
• Resources for people with early-stage Alzheimer's disease
