As the Operations Director for AP World Marketing, Jesse DeNinno has been in the furniture industry for nearly 10 years.
After graduating with a double major from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Jesse worked at a real estate investment trust for 4 years in finance. After taking some time off to travel, he teamed up with Adam Pontrelli at AP World Marketing. The company was founded in 2003 to bring manufacturers and retailers together, serving as the sales, marketing and logistics consulting partner. Jesse is responsible for the operations, logistics, and sales growth for their partners.
Jesse currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Christine.
Felipe Liberman, Shippi Inc and Home and Living Inc, President
Felipe Liberman is a 20 year veteran of the brick and mortar furniture industry and also has over 10 years experience selling furniture online. Felipe is well versed in all aspects of selling furniture online including selling on third party marketplaces, logistics, and optimized pricing.
Today, Felipe is CEO of Shippi.com. Shippi.com is an online marketplace as well as a third party logistics company specializing in shipping furniture to and from businesses and residences. Shippi.com picks up and ships from many top furniture retailers and manufacturers including Mathis Brothers, Ashley Furniture, Coaster Furniture, and Euro Style.
Katie Wagner, Katie Wagner Social Media, Owner
Katie Wagner spent 15 years as a television and radio journalist, working for news outlets all over the world, including ABC, CBS, Fox, CNN & National Public Radio. As a professional storyteller, Katie knows how to engage an audience and build credibility, and she believes those skills are just as valuable for business owners as they are for journalists.
Today, Katie owns a Social Media agency made up of journalists like herself. The agency, Katie Wagner Social Media, specializes in both content creation and social media management. They work with clients like Anthem Blue Cross, The County of San Bernardino, Paul’s TV, EnGenius Technologies, Senegence International, FocalPoint Business Coaching, Camino Federal Credit Union, the California Landscape Contractors Association and Author Michael E. Gerber.
Moderator: Scott Sandberg, Sandberg Furniture, CFMA President
Scott Sandberg is 5th generation in his family’s business, Sandberg Furniture. As with all family members, Scott was “born into the business” and started working as a boy helping set up the San Francisco showroom back in the 80’s. He has been full time with Sandberg Furniture for over 10 years, serving as Sales Manager, Marketing Director, and now in his current position of Director of Strategic Growth. One year ago, Scott launched Sandberg Furniture’s ecommerce division has been growing the business since. Scott has a BA from Southern Methodist University and a MBA from University of Southern California.
