2015 MNSOTA All-State Teachers Workshop 

Join us on the beautiful campus of the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN for our annual three-day professional workshop. Held in conjunction with the 2015 All-State Orchestra camp, this conference allows time to connect with colleagues, participate in workshops with some of the best clinicians around, and play in numerous reading sessions to help you find new music for your ensembles. 

We hope you can join us!

Kirk Moss - bio

We are pleased to present Kirk Moss as this year’s primary clinician.  Kirk is a past national president of the American String Teachers Association, and has appeared as guest conductor, clinician or adjudicator in nearly 40 states.  He has recently been named Music Department Chair at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul. With twelve years of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school orchestras, groups under his direction have earned high distinction. He has coauthored two method books for Alfred Music: Sound Development for Intermediate String Orchestra and Sound Development for Advanced String Orchestra.

His sessions will focus on many aspects of teaching in both the school and studio settings.
