Interested in being a Fourth Friday Destination?

A little background information on the program to consider: 

Local businesses and organizations in Tazewell County - such as Art Studios, Restaurants, Retail, Service, any and all interested in participating -  will be hosting a local artist, musician or special promotion at their business on the Fourth Fridays, from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM (May – Nov). This initiative, called the Tazewell Art Loop is being supported by the Chambers of Commerce in Morton and Pekin and the Tremont and Delavan communities, with representation from businesses in Morton, Tremont, Delavan, and Pekin.  The public will be encouraged to visit participating locations, enjoy great local art, shop and dine local while visiting communities on The Loop!

Cost to participate in this promotional effort will be $40/business location/Fourth Friday season for non chamber members ($20 for chamber members) – This contribution will pay for promotional materials for Fourth Fridays – Tazewell Art Loop. 

How does it work?

1)  Commit to opening your doors from 5pm – 9pm the Fourth Friday between May and November and enjoy cultivating new customers and being part of the Tazewell Art Loop experience.    
2)  Submit the attached registration form and fee to the Morton Chamber of Commerce.  Submit by by the first of the month to be included in that month's promotions.

3)  Your business will be added to The Loop Map and promotional materials.  Participants can register to participate in Fourth Fridaysat any time, but your business may not make it into print publications until the following month.

4)  If indicated on your application, Local and Regional visual and fine Artists and musicians will receive information about your business and the type of art display you can accommodate (i.e. – wall space, floor space, table space) and contact YOU directly requesting to partner for a specific month. You decide who you would like to feature and arrange with them for load-in and set up times.
