The foundation of a pyramid determines its strength, stability, and height to which it can grow. Similar to a pyramid, Community Action Agencies need solid foundations to maintain strong organizations and help reach goals. The Foundation Level Seminar Series (FLSS) was created for entry-level and new staff, and the series focuses on core skill sets to empower attendees in their work helping low-income people. The series gives opportunities for staff to develop both personally and professionally to strengthen the agency as a whole.
FLSS is slated to be held each year in the spring and fall and will cover a variety of topics to enhance foundational skills. Reduced or free registration will be offered when possible to make it affordable and enable agencies to send more staff than would otherwise be possible. Lunch will be provided.
Cost to attend: FREE (Please note: Cancellations received after May 12, 2017 will incur a $20 charge)
