2018 Toronto International Dragon Boat Festival 

Join us at the 30th Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival supporting Holland Bloorview. Volunteer during the weekend of June 16-17th, full of festivities and creating even more possibilities for kids and youth!

About the Event:
From the humble beginning of only 27 teams participating in the first festival back in 1989, the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival has evolved to a much bigger operation over the past two decades. Organized by the Toronto Chinese Business Association in collaboration with GWN Dragon Boat, the Festival will once again welcome 180 to 200 teams with over 5,000 athletes to Toronto Island.

In 2018, as the Festival celebrates its 30^th year, it promises to continue to be one of the most exciting summer events in Toronto and one of the most prestigious dragon boat festivals on the North American dragon boat calendar. Once again, the Festival will welcome teams from across Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean Islands, Europe and Asia.

Volunteer Details:
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out with event support at the 30^th Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival. Volunteers will be representing Holland Bloorview at our very own booth to give information about the hospital and circulate the grounds with coin boxes to collect donations.

A Holland Bloorview Foundation volunteer t-shirt and lunch will be provided.

Age Requirement: 
No minimum (12 and under need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

Accessibility:

Dress Code: 
Casual, comfortable clothing and footwear required, worn with your volunteer t-shirt. This event is happening, rain or shine!
