Since 2003 this annual event has delighted those who want to explore the beautiful and diverse homes of Tubac. This season there are again six homes on the tour, ranging from elegant architectural designed, one-of-a-kind residences to charming homes in the new Barrio de Tubac section.  Each home on the tour has diverse features to inspire those attending with new interior design elements as well as beautiful art and furnishings. Proceeds benefit Tubac Center of the Arts.

Home of Joan Ellinwood

This Arizona territorial style house on five acres is built of eco-friendly “Rastra Block”.  This home is designed for both entertaining and casual living.  A carved stone fireplace is a highlight of the Great Room where guests can mingle in different areas.  A huge covered veranda overlooks a sparkling pool and the mountains beyond.

Home of Dhana and Gene Waken

The owners of this charming house found in the Santiago section of The Barrio have collected antiques from all over the world.  The beautiful courtyard entry embraces the old world and Mediterranean style found throughout the home.  The high ceilings and large windows bring the outdoors in and create a perfect backdrop for their collection of artifacts.

Home of Debbie Bostian and Bob Ochoa

This elegant Sabino Model home overlooks the fourth fairway of the Otero course of The Tubac Golf Resort.  Note the interesting entry with 3 niches and high ceiling, the beautifully remodeled kitchen and restored courtyard with fountain.  The treatment of the fireplace flanked by book cabinets and love seats is unique as is the not to be missed half bath.  Visit the attractive guesthouse before leaving.

Home of Sharon and Wayne Burton

This home is custom built and located in the Barrio de Tubac. Close attention has been paid to creative design details, incorporating, practicality and efficiency, based on the principles of Feng Shui. The feeling, when one enters the home, is restful and cozy but stylish. All walls, interior and exterior, are adorned with original paintings and murals by Sharon Ann Burton herself.

Home of Donna and Jim Cuiver

The large open living room of this home is thrilling.  A high ceiling and tall glass windows and doors view the rear deck and private garden area.  An emphasis on varied art styles, memorabilia and personal collections highlight the entire home.

Home of Jacqueline Frank

After entering the covered porch and courtyard pool area we are treated to a gracious experience.  This home has European and elegant décor intertwined with an eclectic art collection.  Of special interest is the renovation of two bathrooms into one.
